Master of Engineering in Professional Practice (MEPP)

Master of Engineering in Engine Systems (MEES)
This degree is a unique opportunity to integrate knowledge from thermal sciences, design and mechanics, electronics and control, applications and service, and manufacturingall required in the development of an internal combustion engine. In this program you also develop critical project management and computer problem-solving skills that will ensure success in your engine development projects. The curriculum features team-based projects and cutting edge technical knowledge from a leading institution in internal combustion engine research.
Master of Engineering in Technical Japanese (METJ)
This flexible program improves your ability to interact effectively with Japanese counterparts in the technical or business arena. Courses focus on translating and understanding Japanese printed materials and stress technical vocabulary not found in courses that emphasize literature or conversation. You will learn to read (with the aid of a dictionary) Japanese technical documents and specifications, product manuals, brochures, patents and memos. Strategies for reading are reinforced through regular assignments and feedback.
Credit Courses at a Distance
Selected technical courses on campus are available to working adults either as lectures online, or we can mail a DVD or CD. Students view these lectures at times and locations that fit their schedules while completing course assignments and tests on schedules comparable to those of their on-campus counterparts.
