How Off-Campus Study Works

  • Credit courses are taught by UW–Madison faculty members before on-campus student audiences
  • Lectures are then posted to a website for viewing
  • Off-campus students watch the lectures at a time and place convenient to them
  • Students communicate with instructors and submit assignments via email, fax or telephone
  • Exams are proctored by a corporate director of training, a human resource director or a continuing education office, or exams can be taken at UW–Madison

All courses are available through the Web or we can mail a DVD or CD. You may also take a course individually without pursuing the full degree. View the suggested MSME track for course availability and planning.
